Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

gathering babysitting
    finds pages containing "gathering' or "babysitting'

gathering or babysitting
    same as above

gathering and babysitting
    finds pages containing BOTH 'gathering' and 'babysitting'

(gathering not babysitting) and pilgrim
    finds pages containing 'pilgrim', plus 'gathering' but not 'babysitting'

serv*
    finds pages containing words starting with 'serv'
